At a distance of just 3 km is the Coghinas river. The river and the surrounding area have been identified as SIC areas (Site of Community Interest) due to their naturalistic importance.

Canoe trips and boat excursions are organized in the splendid landscape. Excursions for bird watching lovers are possible.
